Septic Tank Pumping

The single most important thing you can do for your septic system. We pump out the solids and sludge that build up over the years, before they overflow into your drain field. Most households need pumping every 3–5 years — we can tell you what your tank actually needs.

Common questions

Things our customers often ask.

Short answers from real conversations on the truck. If your question isn't here, just give Randy a call — he'd rather talk it through than have you guess.

How often should I have my septic tank pumped?

+

For most households, every 3 to 5 years is a reasonable rule of thumb — but it depends on tank size, how many people live in the home, and what you put down the drain. We can tell you what we see when we pump it and give you an honest schedule based on your specific tank.

What are signs that my septic tank needs pumping?

+

Slow drains throughout the house, gurgling toilets, sewage smells indoors or in the yard, soggy or unusually green grass around the drain field, and (worst case) sewage backing up into a tub or floor drain. If any of these show up, call sooner rather than later — small problems get expensive fast.

How much does septic tank pumping cost?

+

Price depends on tank size, accessibility, and what we find inside. We don't believe in surprise charges or upselling work you don't need — give us a call and we'll walk you through what to expect for your specific setup before we head out.

Can you come out for emergency septic backup service?

+

Yes. We service emergency backups during business hours (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM) and do our best to get a truck out the same day when you call early. Customers regularly tell us we showed up within a few hours of the call.

What should I do if my septic system is backing up?

+

Stop running water in the house — no laundry, no dishwasher, minimize toilet use. Keep people and pets away from any pooled sewage outside. Then call us. The faster we get on site, the less mess and damage you'll deal with.
